I can keep dreaming ... but wouldn't she be an awesome addition to the Falcons in a couple of years?

Wow, that's.....a big girl to say the least. If she really develops like article alluded to , she could be an unstoppable force in college somewhere. Hope she gets some good teaching , though with her size does she really need much coaching?MarkL wrote:http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/nj_h ... aLi2PRqB5L

In a word, YES. Just because a person is tall does not mean they automatically know how to play the game of basketball. Personally, I think she will need MORE coaching than a guard. She needs to be taught not to swat down for the ball, because the officials love to call that. She needs to learn to go up strong and put the ball back up in a way that draws a foul. She needs to learn how to shoot free throws. there is much for her to learn. It doesn't just happen if you are tall.

I do agree with you , I'm just saying her basketball IQ doesn't have to be extremely high to be successful I think with that kind of height advantage over everyone she'll ever play against. Yeah, the more good coaching she gets the more dominate she'd be.

I will take shorter players with higher basketball IQ's EVERY day and WIN over tall players with low basketball IQ's who either miss shots or foul out and watch the end of the game from the bench.

Of course, but don't say you wouldn't take her if she's got some skills. At the very least she'd be a very dominating presence defensively. Her length would make everyone who entered the paint alter their shot. It's the Journey... wrote:I will take shorter players with higher basketball IQ's EVERY day and WIN over tall players with low basketball IQ's who either miss shots or foul out and watch the end of the game from the bench.
