MAC Parity, Mediocrity or Strength?

Post by BigGibber »

Toledo loses to Kent State just a few days after beating BG. Typical trap game let down by the Rockets, MAC parity/mediocrity, or is our league getting stronger? (One of you contributors out there had a post recently that UT would lose by 10 to KSU, boy were you wrong, by 7 points  )

There's been talk that the reason the American League has been dominating the National league in the World Series, All Star Game and inter-league play is because the AL has the Yankees and Red Sox and the NL doesn't. The rest of the AL has been forced to step up their game just to compete with NYY and the Sox.

Could Curt Miller and our Falcon women be having the same effect on the MAC?
Do you ever just get down on your knees and thank god that you know me and have access to my dementia?

I think its very possible that this is the case. A better Mac is a good thing. What we need though is other Mac schools beating ranked opponents and winning against good teams on a yearly basis. That's how a conference gets respect over time.
