Most of you in reading the other threads feel that BG simply lost on the raod at CMU because it was a tough road game. Well once again we let another one get away. And if BG cannot fix its late minute game problems this team is in trouble:

HERE IS MY POINT! See if you see a trend:

HARTFORD: 65-60 Falcons lose: BG had a 5 point lead with 6 minutes to go

Marist: 70-65 Falcons lose: BG had a 3 point lead with under 2 minutes to go

Toledo: 66-63: Falcons lose: BG had 11 point lead with just over 6 minutes to go, and score only 1 basket on its last 11 possessions

CMU: 67-65: Falcons lose: BG had 16 point lead at the 10:00 minute mark in second half, and then only score 4 points the last 6 minutes of the game, with 6 TO's and 2 missed FTs.

BG almost blew a 17 point second half lead at Vanderbilt, winning by 6 points, after Vandy took a late lead. Not to mention almost the meltdown at Ball State.


[bBG needs to find a way to close out games on the road. Until we do that we will lose at Akron, and truely believe have an early exit in the MAC Tourney][/b]

I just think the team has not played as well or as consistently as many of us thought it would. I don't know if that is a reliable predictor for future events though.

Maybe the success in 05-06 and 06-07 was taken for granted by fans. Winning on the road is extremely difficult, even more so against the quality of opponents that BG has faced this season.

so 9-2 isn't successful? man this team is struggling, they are gonna lose at akron and take an early exit in the tournament because we lost to toledo by 3 and cmu by 2. complete blowouts, i just don't know how the team even has a chance.

this team is 18-3 in the last 21 games. the fans have really been taking prior seasons for granted because this record is awful.

look, you can't go undefeated in league every year. we almost did last year and still didn't win the MAC tourney by one or two points.
