Re: New MAC Tournament Format
I'm not sure that I like the change. I kind of like the top 2 seeds having a lead in, easier game against a 7th, 8th, 9th or 10th seed to warm up with. Under the new format, the 1 & 2 seeds would be coming in cold, not having played in 8-10 days, and be facing a 3 or 4 seed with a game under their belts or a 5th or lower seed on a 3 game winning streak, feeling pretty good about themselves.
Do you ever just get down on your knees and thank god that you know me and have access to my dementia?

But if you notice, those other teams coming up against 1 and 2 seeds will be playing those games in consecutive days. I think that nullifies some of the issues with being warmed up or on fire and playing a cold team. The 1 & 2 seed teams may be "cold", but they'll be playing tired competition.BigGibber wrote:I'm not sure that I like the change.
