St. Bonaventure University

Post by dforde »

Had the pleasure of visiting with Kate Achter at my alma Mater, St. Bonaventure University last Saturday. It is no coincidence that the Lady Bonnies are having their best ever season (25-2) with Assistant Coach Kate Achter on staff. She is doing great and we had a great conversation. I introduced her to all my St. Bonaventure friends as BGSU Hoops Royalty. She said to be sure and say hi to everyone at BGSU. What are the chances the Lady Bonnies play their first and second round games in the tournament at BGSU?

Did you say hi to Steve Watson who is the AD there? He is also a BG alum and played basketball at BG. Hoping he will be our next AD!

Steve Watson wasn't the focal point of Larranaga's teams when he was here...he was a solid guy who filled a stat line pretty well, but he wasn't the man. Put him on this squad and he would be....is it me or did Larranaga and Weinert get more talented basketbll players...not talented athletes that can run and jump, but talented athletes that can play basketball.... than either Dakich or Orr?
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
