gmartin is absolutely correct. BGSU did nothing to deserve an at-large bid this year. Yes, 24-6 is a great record, but unfortunately, BG did not beat any of the top teams on the schedule. The three toughest non-conference opponents -- Dayton, Purdue and Creighton -- all beat BG, and obviously, the losses to Ohio and CMU didn't help. I can't imagine BG was even in the conversation after we lost to Central on Friday afternoon.
