Great article with bites from Jennifer Roos and Jillian Halfhill. Great to see Graham Hays taking notice of Jillian Halfhill, who doesn't always get the credit she deserves for the way she has run this team. Behind Slagle and Pontius, she had some big shoes to fill, and she has done it well this year

Re: Falcons get props from Graham Hays
At least Graham is taking notice. Charlie Creme wondered if BG really played that well or did Dayton have an off game. Our RPI only rose 7 spots. And we dropped from #17 to #23 in the latest mid major polls. Amazing that we beat a top #15 team and we drop in polls. Like I said in a previous post, we go 14-2 in conference and people will notice.

That was a great article by Hays. Loved the bit about Roos not wanting to move into Curt's office. Shows just how much respect Roos and the others in the program had for the man.
This next stretch of the schedule will be interesting because our win against Dayton was the one that got a lot of people to take notice. We'll know very soon if we're headed for another steamroll through the MAC, and that UT game on 1/13 will be very telling. If we win that one, assuming we don't have any other defeats between now and then we'll probably start to pick up votes in one or both of the polls. FWIW, Toledo is ranked 32nd in the Coaches Poll this week, and will probably be on the cusp of cracking the top 25 by then unless they drop a game somewhere.
