Yes we do. Refer to the previous post of bringing Don Imus and Rush Limbaugh to do interviews.

Other than her looking forward to playing USF in the semi-final round, I didn't see anything bad about what she talked about.HoopsFan wrote:
Her opening statement isn't very coherent. Clearly she views the WNIT as second rate. Yeah, lady, but those are the cards dealt you.
State legislatures do get involved in scheduling matters (O$U schedules Ohio schools in football because state legislators complained about the money going out-of-state among other items).
Her AD/SWA has been on selection committees in the past and knows what they need to do as far scheduling goes (with the move into the Big10 for the $$$$$$) so they can return to the NCAA tourney.
Other than looking at a possible USF match-up, I didn't see anything upsetting.

as transfer said section 115 is Anderson Club. You also must be at a certain giving level within the Falcon Club to pay $22 per ticket.
To the points of this being our last home game, imo, not so. We bid for the next game while the present game is going on. It is also extra money
ponied up beyond just ticket sales. The women also have a benefactor who supports them very well. We have history with Triple Crown Sports who
runs the WNIT. It goes back to having the largest group in Cancun in 2006.
First things first, the next game, Rutgers. Then we'll find out what happens next.
Heard a rumor that as we keep winning every thing possible would be done to reward this team with home games. for what it's worth.
Can we please leave the lousy comments about Rutgers in the past. We know other team's fans find this site. Thanks

thanks. yeah, called and got the same info about 115 and giving levels.BGSUE wrote:as transfer said section 115 is Anderson Club. You also must be at a certain giving level within the Falcon Club to pay $22 per ticket.
which leads me to conclude that hoops attendance issues are not entirely the fault of apathetic students, the coach, or our win-loss record.
we might have been willing to fill a few of those empty seats with a paid upgrade to $22--but nope, not permitted.
guess I'll continue to be happy that we can still sit between the blue lines in the ice arena without ticket purchase being tied to giving levels. making the old barn look good, lol.
Beat Rutgers!

The plan is to try again Monday. really need a quiet space to get started. I tweeted a heads-up to Falcon Fanatics for some help.
If you looked a few of the women had a smile on their face.
This whole run has been lots of fun. Hoping to keep the attendance and bidding up.

Re: Monday versus Rutgers at BGSU!
I didn't feel upset but I DID think she has a rather low option of the WNIT. Kept referring to Rutgers being a NCAA school etc. They didn't HAVE to accept the bid to play. Obviously must feel they got snubbed by NCAA tournament committee. Almost was waiting for her to ask where BG was.transfer2BGSU wrote:Other than her looking forward to playing USF in the semi-final round, I didn't see anything bad about what she talked about.HoopsFan wrote:

Re: Monday versus Rutgers at BGSU!
I agree with Sue. Let's leave the negative comments off the message board. Rutgers is a very good opponent. The coach has won over 900 games. The game that Imus commented on was the game that followed the BGSU sweet 16 game in Greensboro. We stayed for most of that game. That was a very good and very fast team.
I loved the crowd we had for the Michigan game. I talked to a couple of Michigan fans at half. They were very impressed with the crowd and atmosphere. I hope we can fill the Stroh up for this game. This team deserves it.

I had a conversation with some members of the Michigan pep band from Thursday. The description they had for our home crowd was "rabid"

Way to go Chris Kingston. Having these home games is a great reward for the team, fans, and community. I bet it does not hurt recruiting also. Go Falcons!

Good luck to the lady Falcons !!!
35-0..1969-1971..Second longest winning streak in NCAA history..
Re: Monday versus Rutgers at BGSU!
If we win tonight, does anyone know where the WNIT Final Four will take place? The online bracket says "date, location TBD."
Would the semifinals and the final be played at campus sites? That doesn't seem fair to me.
You think they would have secured a neutral site already and built some promotion around it?

A couple years ago, Toledo played ALL of their games at home, so unless things have changed, it is not at a neutral site, but at a campus site.

Home games will continue to go to the highest bidder between the two schools.
