News-Messenger Michael Bosi Athlete of the Year Award

The Michael K. Bosi award is given annually to the News-Messenger athlete of the year. Its namesake was a sportswriter for The News-Messenger from August 1996 to his death on Oct. 28, 1997, from complications of Marfan Syndrome, a genetic disorder that impacts connective tissue.
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.
