Falcons Listed in Transfer Portal

I was surprised when looking at WBBBlog Transfers that 3 Lady Falcons were listed. The first (Angela Perry) is not surprising especially as a Grad Transfer But Macy Speilman and Oliva Trice were also listed. Does not mean that they are leaving for sure but probably likely in that Trice's prior minutes went to her HS teammate Nyla Hampton and while Spielman got more minutes in the last few games of the year, her position might have been in doubt with Zoe Miller added in the coming year as well as a healthy Olivia Hill. By my count the roster is one short of the 15 scholarships discounting Madisen Parker who would be exempt per Covid rules.

I was bummed to see her leave. Clear talent but never really found her role here. Best of luck to her at FIU. I think she has the talent to be a great player.

Sad to see this… some may recall the video when she announced, “ I’m gonna be BG Falcon! “ in the locker room. Now she’s on her way to Fla. to play. I wish her well.
