Absolutely incredible comeback to beat first place Akron. Outscored them 31-13 in the 4th to win 71-66.

From down 53-40 entering the 4th to winning by 5. Great, clutch performance.

This team is 14-2!

HUGE game at the Stroh against Toledo coming up. Wish I could be there. I hope people turn up for it and fill the place up.

Good crowd at the JAR yesterday and Akron is a legit title contender...they have height. But a GREAT comeback win for BG!!! It was a fantastic 4th quarter and made the 10 min drive back to Green a fun one. Wed night....BEAT TSUN!!!!!

What an awesome comeback, using grit and determination! It seemed as though the first three quarters, Akron controlled most aspects of the game. They basically imposed their will, but BG imposed theirs in the 4th quarter! I really believe that the Falcons’ depth wore down the Zips at the end. It seemed to me that in the first three quarters, the Falcons were hesitant to shoot open shots, then forced bad passes or shots as the shot clock ran down. I also believe that when the Falcons hold the ball for the last shot of the quarter, they should look to shoot with 7-8 seconds on the clock, as opposed to 2-3 seconds left. That way, the shot is not a frantic toss at the basket, but time to get a good look plus an opportunity for an offensive board if the shot is missed. Most of the time when BG holds for the last shot, it ends up being a bad pass or throwing the ball up on a prayer. Just my opinion, of course. Nevertheless, a great team win for the Falcons. Let’s put the hurts to the Rockets on Wednesday, and play four solid quarters of Falcon basketball! GO FALCONS!
