I also think that going into next year, we may have a significant amount of hype surrounding the team, kinda like how football did for this past season. This is especially true if we go deep into the NCAA tournament this year, people around the country are going to take notice to us a bit, and when they see that we have all the key players back next year, the expectations and the hype nationally could be much bigger than it has been this year.
Bingo. If we capitalize on it, we could keep this train rolling for years to come.
You guys are exactly right. If we wouldn't have made the NCAA tournament last year, and played a top 25 team close, the girls probably wouldn't yet be in the top 25. But because they did those things last year, they got votes early, and have kept it going. If they do better this year, they will start in the top 25, and move up from there next year. Just keep on winning, that's the best way to get the attention that they deserve.

I was thinking this exact same thing whilst eating my lunch this afternoon. If we can continue to roll and make progress in the tourney, it would be an absolute abomination of everything holy for us to not be ranked preseason - especially with the talent we are both returning and brining in next year!
Oh my is it a great time to be a Falcon!

It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work - work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. ~Ronald Reagan

I know it's early, but with that said, does anyone know about possible OOC games for next year. I would like to see a rematch with UK, and being from Cincinnati, I would love to see us play at UC, I would love nothing better then to walk into Shoemaker Center wearing Orange and Brown
