I do see what you're saying, though, JP. As a whole for this argument, I think some of the heat the writers take is because of their location. It's one thing for a writer at ESPN.com to get a score wrong (or CFN getting bowl opponents, winners and finals wrong
There have been times where I've kind of groaned about a column Maureen wrote, but I think as it's been said here, most of her daily "cover the game and the press conference" writing has been good, and some of the more 'feature' work has been outstanding. Coming on here during football season and getting a bit more into the "fan side" was cool, too. Something small, for sure, but a great idea to get a different angle on things.
