This is how I feel about folks posting rumors and innuendo:

If you aren't going to tell us who you are, if you aren't going to name your sources and if you aren't going to make a specific allegation, shut your cake hole and can the vague allusions to "cancers".

aw, who am I kidding...you could do all of those things and I probably will still delete it simply because ms McCoy has a right to her privacy.

Let's just assume that the trials and tribulations Niki went through at Akron are going to stay in Akron.

Welcome to BGSU, Niki. I hope you make the most of your time here. This is a great place to get an education and meet a lot of really cool people

and a few jerks, too...

While I welcome her into the program, I am going to choose to be cautious with expectations on her. I truly hope that a change of scenery is what she is needing, and if that is the case, then I am happy for the program. BUT, I have very good sources in this situation, and there is a reason that Coach Kest has let her transfer to another MAC school after she originally wasn't going to let her. Look, sometimes things happen, and I am all for second chances. But I am going to wait and hope that she just needed to be in a different place. And please don't tell me that I need to "reveal" my sources or give specific allegations.

And that's all well and good...but this isn't Akron, Coach Miller isn't Coach Kest and unless you, me or anyone else was there, we're dealing with second hand info. You may have second hand info from someone you trust, but it's still second hand info about the past.

Why don't we let the kid get settled in here and see how she meshes with her new teammates before we start throwing up caution flags and whispering about allegations from her past?

In any event I don't think she is going to be to happy with sitting out a year when its all said and done. I hope she will not prove to be a cancer, I don't think Coach Miller would put up with that, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Why would she have a problem with sitting out a year? She would have to do that any place she went if they were a D-1 school...

took the words right out of my mouth, if she didn't want to sit out a year she would have went to Findlay, the only non D1 she was considering

I'd expect Akron people to be pretty PO'd about their best player transferring to the best program in the conference. Anything that comes from them needs to be kept in that context. I also have yet to see any quotes from McCoy bashing the Akron program or disparaging Coach Kest on her way out the door.

I was just going to say the same thing as JoeFalcon. Miss McCoy has not said anything negative about Akron, so I think that speaks highly of her. All of her comments have been positive ones regarding BG.

I have faith in Coach Miller and the entire coaching staff and team leadership to know what they are doing. I am not going to prejudge a young lady on something that may or may not have happened.

Akron is getting it in the rear big time now, with us stealing would-be recruits from them in their territory and now getting McCoy transferring to us. Hope this all works out well. McCoy won't have an automatic starting job when she's finally eligible though as there is the large and very talented incoming class in the mix.

Maybe we'll gain some new fans of her HS days at Northview.

Am I actually agreeing with Falconboy?

Call 911. Or OnStar.

Just call something. We don't want to lose you.
