McCoy suspended three games
Coach Miller has never led us astray. Something tells me he knows what he's doing. One problem in how many years?? Can we get a graduation percentage? How about an over-all team GPA? Isn't the women's basketball team always the highest collective GPA in the athletic department? Have you ever been present for the academic awards presentations during half-time of a basketball game? its almost always got 100% participation from our ladies.
He neither needs nor deserves a monkey on his back. He has handled everything thrown at him with class, dignity and great judgement during his time here.

You have you r opinions and I have mine..ZuluWarrior wrote:[That is why Miller is the coach and you all are not.]
Are you saying he's the coach so win at all costs allows him to make this decision? The more I think about it the more pathetic a three game suspension sounds. If I did what she did I would not lose three days pay, I'd lose my JOB!

I too think the suspension sounds soft, but I'm also not around the girl 5 or 6 days a week, I don't know about her work ethic, and I don't know if she is truly sorry. I don't know anything about her. She is a part of the Falcon family and Miller is the leader of that family. So if he thinks 3 games is enough, then Its enough. Period.

Questions I still have is, why was her license suspended in the first place? Knowing that her license was suspended, why did she consider driving anywhere...let alone after a night of drinking? I sure hope this is an isolated incident and not a sign of past issues not getting sufficiently resolved...and this suspension not enough of a penalty to deter her from making a similar bad judgement call in the future. I guess only time will tell.
Generally speaking, the Women's volleyball team has had the highest team GPA on campus for the past decade or so.The Niz wrote:Coach Miller has never led us astray. Just for the record...I love this coaching staff. Head and shoulders above all other staffs we have here at BGSU. Personable, approachable, knowledgeable, and just great coaches. I hope that the powers that be, on this campus, fully understand what they have here, and appreciate it. I know I do.

Then you know in advance to not drink and drive. My job requirs a million dollars liability coverage. That would be tough to get under FRA, so, I too would have to find another job. Since I'd be pretty unhappy flipping burgers at the local fast food joint, I pretty much stay out of bars.ZuluWarrior wrote:[That is why Miller is the coach and you all are not.]

So let's see. Kick her off the team, take away her scholarship, toss her out of school, and, wait a minute, she hasn't even been convicted or punished by the State of Ohio yet.
Yeah, makes me glad you're NOT the coach.

First off I suggested suspension until the end of the season. Second, I wonder how everyone would feel if she hurt or G-d forbid killed somebody. Michael Phelps was suspended three months, what he did was far less reckless than what she did. I can't believe none of you have been impacted by a drunk driver in your lives. You are all lucky. Three games...

This is the dumbest responses I've ever seen. Its not about being impacted by a drunk driver. Its about the seriousness of the crime!!!
