Re: BG v CMU
yea tied for first overall and the season is lost because we're 9-2. give me a break. the two conference losses were games we barely lost. to say the season is over is ridiculous. learn from mistakes, play hard the whole 40 minutes, and believe in what you're doing. it is a marathon, and you can't win every game, unless you're uconn.

The season is not lost. Post season is unless we win the MAC tournament.
Being undefeated takes a lot of luck. Of course we expect them to win every game, and at the end of the season, we've all bitched about the unfairness of the NCAA tournament that sends the 5th or 6th place Big Conference team and slights our Falcons. The win over Vandy gave us hope, the loss to UT, then Central erased that hope that BG will get a post season bid without winning the Tourney.
I just don't think a 25-7 or 24-8 Falcon team is going to be enough to get to even the NIT this year.

Sure I would love to have this team go 16-0 in MAC play. We have been spoiled the past few years people. There is a lot of talent on this team. Maybe too much!? If BG wins the reg. season MAC then they go to the NIT if they dont win the MAC tourney. By all means is this SEASON LOST!

Postseason play might happen even if we don't win the MAC Tournament. The womens postseason WNIT is expanding to 64 teams this season. You can't tell me there would be 128 teams (NCAA + WNIT) better than Bowling Green. Check out the web site http://www.womensnit.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. To get where we want to be, the NCAAs, we need to win MAC Tournament. But to say all chance of post season is gone if we don't is ridiculous. We have a history with the company that runs the WNIT, so I think we could get an at large bid to that tournament at least. Let's just focus on one game at a time. Be there Saturday, wear pink and be loud for the Falcons. When the team takes care of business, we won't have to worry about postseason play.
