A couple of years ago, season ticket holders (at least in FB) were given token gifts...one year for sure a T shirt, and I can't recall the others... As for me, I'll keep my season tix on the 50...wouldn't trade em for anything (well maybe the President's box).

FWIW, I just spoke with the ticket office and while they said they don't have a specific program to distribute donated tickets to youth groups, etc., they were more than helpful and willing to find a group to get tickets to.
The $1 promotion is a great way to not only bring families who wouldn't normally think of coming out to the game, but also a fairly cheap way to bring a bunch of new Falcon fans (hopefully) into the flock. Roll Along!

Not complaining just stating that they raised the ticket prices before they hooked the fans. We had dollar days at AA, but we also had general admission. I dare say we've lost some fans along the way especially families due to the price & no youth or senior discounts. Loyalty???
I will continue buying season tickets.....I like my spot in the Stroh & designating my Falcon Club $$$ to the team of my choice. I thought about tickets in Anderson Club( I do qualify) but tradition has me sit across from the bench @ home & behind it @ away games(safety in numbers);)
Hoping to have lots of fans in the stands on Sunday....but must go get ready for the game in Oxford first.
Thanks gmartin for all the calls you made & TG1996 for asking about donated tickets.

I agree so much. It's all about exposure. We have this brand new arena and a team that's remarkably better than anyone predicted for this year. Now we just need to put bodies in seats to bring more exposure to people who aren't already coming to games, to show them what a great product BGSU women's basketball has. It's a long term plan.TG1996 wrote:FWIW, I just spoke with the ticket office and while they said they don't have a specific program to distribute donated tickets to youth groups, etc., they were more than helpful and willing to find a group to get tickets to.

I really don't think it's the right approach to think of a $1 day as diminishing the value of our season tickets. For me, it's a chance to bring along friends and family who don't have season tickets and show them what a great time it is. Also, I'm assuming they'll have the terrible seats opposite the student section and I don't really envy that. I'll stay with my comfy chair with a good view, even if it means once a year someone gets in cheaper than me.
Also, season ticket holders still get $1 hot dogs!!!!! Stroh dogs are soooo good...

Next time you are on an airplane ask the 5 people sitting around you how much they paid for their ticket and I bet you get 5 different answers.

I tried to eat a Stroh dog but the tin soldier knocked it out of my hand because I was using a napkin I brought from home....I'm writing a sternly worded letter to the editor of the Sent Trib

Was more than happy to do it. Haven't heard back as far as any takers, but for all the times I've been given an extra ticket at a tailgate or by someone who couldn't use it, it was the least I could do, especially for just a buck a seat.BGSUE wrote:Thanks gmartin for all the calls you made & TG1996 for asking about donated tickets.

It will also be BG's Alumnae Day with many former Falcons greats on hand at the Stroh Center. For those like me that can't make it, it is the MAC TV Game of the Week and will be aired on SportsTime Ohio. NICE!

How much did BGSU pay for this cut and paste? Somehow the hatchet job is more noticeable on the bigger picture which is on the Athletics web site.
Jessica's hair / head?
Danielle's pointy elbow?
I dunno. Seems like they deserve better treatment.
