Why set an arbitrary standard that is only achievable in minor sports? I would argue that the 2003 football team is worthy because beating B1G teams, winning a Bowl Game before there were a million of them and finishing in the top 25 in football was can amazing accomplishment that is certainly HOF worthy and they didn't even win a conference Championship let alone a National title.

BTW a number of the 1970 Lacrosse team were on my floor at Kohl Hall my Freshman Year. Most were from Maryland and other East Coast states. That team was good and now I believe Lacrosse is long gone with Title IX.
