Honorable mention All-Ohio, 2nd team all district, several double doubles on the year. Good pickup for a true freshman.

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I'd take her back in a heartbeat.Flipper wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 12:42 am Nyla Hampton back in the portal...

I know there has been a bit of grumbling about the way she left around here, but she's a player that can help us win. Her defense is outstanding.

Would definitely welcome her back!

Re: Roster Changes
Would also welcome her back but 1000% chance she's looking to go to a high major school. I wonder if Fralick has found her a spot at MSU.

Nyla Hampton is indeed heading to Michigan State to reunite with Fralick.

Re: Roster Changes
Another 24 Commit. 5'10" CG Brook Simpson out of Saugatuck MI, by the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan. First Team Division 3. Averaged 17.5 PPG 3.25 Assists and apparently is good on defense being named Holland area Defensive Player of the Year. Decommitted from Dayton. But missed Jr year after ACL injury and looks like she wears one of those large braces. Still here's a longer article that reiterates some of the same items.

Re: Roster Changes
She looks like a really good pickup. Good defense, good passing, spot up shooting. Fits right in.

Re: Roster Changes
Used to love going to Saugatuck back in the 90's when it had a more artist colony vibe...it became real touristy in the early 2000's...haven't been back since.
Brook seems like a fine player...hope the knee holds up

She is the sister of former MBB player Matiss Kulackovskis.fredthefalcon wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2024 12:53 pm Wbbblog is now showing a commitment dated in late January from 6'0' G/F Kristiana Kulackovska. a RS Soph playing at Eastern Florida State College and originally from Latvia. Plays in the same league as Moxey the 6'4" Juco already signed. Eastern State had a record of 27-5 and was 21-0 in its conference. Kulackovska mostly started and averaged 8.4 ppg this past year along with 5.1 rbg. Not a 3 point shooter at all. 72% FT.

Does anyone have an up-to-date roster that would be for the '24-'25 season?

Re: Roster Changes
Brook Simpson HS high jump is 1.5 inches higher than our best this year, 5'10". I wonder if she will try for two sports.
Also rated very high in the 200 and 400 high school. I'd love BG to try to entice high caliber athletes to play multiple sports. Just need them to commit to one as their priority and make sure other athletes don't get bent out of shape about it if they miss a lot of practices in their secondary sport.
