so true that three was awesome
Amazing that we held on without Ali in the game for a long time, and it is amazing how awesome Ali is at the end of these tournament games...

The jumper Sunday & the Dish to Kate, and that 3 today...

AWESOME!

I was going to post the very same thing. For some reason I was pulling for MSU, but it was still hard not to say it.

Anyway, this was easily one of the best sports weeks of my entire life. This team is incredible and now I have to say without a doubt that they are the best Women's team in MAC history:
Best season record in MAC history (men or women), 3-peat MAC champs, 4 straight MACC appearances, an undefeated conference season (last year), individual stats that are unreal, a senior class that could dominate half the NCAA on it's own, best seed in MAC history (was this a tie or outright?), Sweet-16 berth (and beyond!), and the list just keeps on rolling.

If I weren't so tired I might be hesitant to post this, but seeing as it's 3:51 and I just really got settled into my apartment--
I'm dead sure they're the best ladies team in MAC history. Acknowledging the fact that they're very different games, would you say (stat/record-wise), they're the best regardless of gender? I know very little about the history of the men's side of the MAC, but the sustained success over the past 4 years in addition to this last win has me wondering.

Whatever the case, this was incredible, and now it's time to show Greensboro and ASU what we're all about.

In terms of sustained success they would have to be considered one of the best in MAC history but on the men's side there have been numerous times a team has had one really good season such as the elite eight Kent St team or the Miami team that had Wally and Ira. Who knows how far this BG team will take us.

I'd say you can safely call this team the greatest dynasty in the MAC.

It's not over yet, we still got a chance to just take things one game at a time.

I'm completely at a loss. I am so excited for these women. I'm excited for BGSU, and Bowling Green, and the MAC, but I'm mostly excited for these amazing young women.

What a great win, Arizona State is next!

Awesome win last night. I was happy that I got to see the end of it. I had it watch the corner of the screen all night during that ND/UNC game. I was going nuts.

(My expression ---> ....... been following some Falcon Bball this year son?)

And watching last night's game, we certainly aren't intimidated.

[quote="PeregrinnerBest season record in MAC history (men or women), [/quote]

How would you rate that? By winning percentage? UT's 25-2 record from 1965 or so would be slightly better. Number of wins is probably the most ever for a men or women's program. Not to rain on anybody's parade-the Falcons have done a fabulous job and are representing the school and conference VERY well! I'll be pulling for you all against ASU. Well, OK, not very hard but still... ;-)

This is so true, I'm having a difficult time imagining a counterpoint.

What a team!
