OK I heard about all this & it has raised my blood pressure. First students stood on east sideline of the basketball court in Anderson Arena. They are sitting/standing as case may be on the baseline of Bill Frack Court in the Stroh Center. Section 101 and part of section 102 will be for student overflow. I hope they fill it. 2sidelines,2baselines dif lengths Second,as for "townies" & families taking student seats, I've seen many a student come over the rail in section K, L, and M when there was butt room in the GA section in front of me. That pissed me off 'cause I've been a student too & have sat in the bleachers probably before some of you took your first breath. Plus GA prices are cheaper than reserve seats which those sections contained. As a student, I paid for a building I never used, but lots of former students of mine have beaten a path to it. Third, if the donors hadn't pooled their money together the area where the Stroh is would still be a parking lot. I love AA but I did building/finance plan for a class 2 provide ideas for a new arena, 15 yrs after AA opened.

Fourth, the Storh Center only has reserved seats. The student section(in orange)west end of the building for students only. I've heard they will come in entrance at northwest corner of the building. That is why sitting on the north sideline cost you a $100 Falcon Club membership. I've been giving a long time, still dk if I'll get my 1st choice. Take a class ,be a student or pay on time like lots of people do, reach a better seat. Section numbers, lettered rows, numbered seats is set-up.
Fifth, I heard player parents/guests/recruits? will sit in the first 5 rows of sec. 104. I'm hoping only positive things will be heard by these people. They do react to things they hear said around them esp. when their child is having a rough game. Lose recruits, parents---I think not.
Six, NOBODY is going to ruin my fun @ the Stroh. I will cheer postively until I can't talk. That's what the Women's team wants. I KNOW I can be heard.....it's on video, radio & ringing in some ears. CU 11/12 & 11/17.

Not to be mean, but I don't really understand the main point behind the two posts by Sue. In fact, I think she both advocated and then demonized the new student section, but I can't really be sure either actually occurred. Anybody want to give me a recap of what the point of those posts were?
