Difficult road game...

BG at Ball State tomorrow, 3pm tipoff. The Falcons have been kinda skating by lately even though they've been winning. The Cards are 13-8 overall, 6-4 MAC and 7-2 at Worthen Arena this year. Their only home MAC loss was to EMU by single digits. This team is no slouch and we MUST be ready to play a FULL 40 from the opening tip. We are gonna get everyone's best shot and the Cards are a solid team on their home floor.
BG leads the all time series with Ball State, 35-12.

With a BG win or an Ohio loss tomorrow, BG will clinch a 1st round bye for the MAC tourney.

In case the WBGU feed isn't working, www.ballstatesports.com is BSU's athletic site. Maybe they'll have the live video cast like the men's game had

GO FALCONS!!! BEAT BALL STATE!

well said. along with kent state at AA, this is one of the two games down the stretch where we'll need to play our best. bsu is always tough at home.
i think coach miller will have the ladies ready to play. as long as we keep up our solid defense, and don't settle for 3s, especially in the first half (i.e. get some offensive penetration, not let bsu hang around), i don't see any reason why we won't win this game handily.

I sure hope we start winning some games handily again , these latest Mac games have all been very close to the near end. Again I'd like to see that 3 forward lineup again and pound em inside some more and then that'll open up our 3pt shooters even more.

As I've mentioned in a couple other threads, Ball State is a solid team and reminds me a lot of our team personnel-wise. They aren't as talented, but we won't outwork or outcoach them. We need to play well to win this game on the road.

On the bright side, Honegger is always good for 25-30 points in Indiana :)
