you gotta have faith, i know its hard to have faith in the guys right now, but we gotta and hey if floyd can start to play well for an extended period of time...then its possible

you gotta have faith, i know its hard to have faith in the guys right now, but we gotta and hey if floyd can start to play well for an extended period of time...then its possible

Point guard play is going to be extremely important for us if we are to make a splash in the MAC tournament. We need to get the offense running effectively without turning the ball over like we have, ESPECIALLY in the last 5 minutes of the game. Gosh, it seems like late in games we always screw up and fail to make plays, and most of the time it is because of poor production from the point guard position. If Floyd can just get it together for a 4-game stretch in March, who knows what we can do.

I gotta admit, even though we haven't helped ourselves late in games and have lost quite a few close ones, some of it is just bad luck. One of these times the ball will have to bounce our way, and if that's in the MAC tournament, great.

To be honest, I think its about a 66/33 chance in favor of us getting to the Q. We'll probably play somebody like Toledo in round 1, hopefully away from AA because we can't win there, and we'll probably win. Once we get there though, its going to be an uphill battle. At the very best, we pull off an upset in the quarterfinals and get blasted in the semis, because to beat anybody there would be an upset, particularly if we are the #9 seed like we are right now. We'd have to beat three teams like Miami, Akron, and Kent State to win it, which is just too much to ask.

I think it will be Kent State vs Miami in the finals, with Miami taking the championship.
