Softball Splits 2 Games on Sunday

A win over Washington and a loss to Mississippi State today in Texas. I just saw the 6-1 loss to MSU this afternoon on Gametracker. BG gave up 6 runs with 2 outs in the 3rd inning to MSU. Here's the story from the UW game....

All in all, the BG softball team did pretty well this weekend...4 very close losses to very good teams. Beating Washington was big but Miss State beat BG in their final game, 6-1. Gina Rango was named to the All Tournament Team.

Falcons are now 7-5 and head to Boca Raton, Fla, for the FAU Worth Classic next weekend. BG will play Seton Hall, Campbell, Rutgers and Fla Atlantic.
