FWIW, there are several great stories about the MAC tournament on both the men's and women's side. here's a story about our lady falcons:

it focuses on our 2003 freshman class. they're a tight knit group.

The 2003 class, no?
But a very cool article, for sure...

i'd appreciate it if you wouldn't quote my posts and change their original text in order to make me look bad.

The PD also had a nice article about a BG verbal commitment from the 2007 high school class.

Wow. Awesome, awesome coverage for our program. Kudos to the PD who many of us have criticised in the past for not covering MAC sports. I realize that a lot of this coverage has to do with the MAC Tournament coming to town, but it is still commendable.
Uhl sounds like she is going to be a very, very good one.

This Jen Uhl girl sounds like the quintesential Curt Miller recruit , a decent sized girl at 6'1 who can post , pass the ball well and shoot the 3 quite well also. This looks like a very nice recruit to say the least. Also , the thing I like the most about this recruit is that she's plays for a Div.1 team in Northeast Ohio, usually athletic programs from that area are very , very good. That means she's playing against very good talent and her team has very good record at 20-3 in her league.
Don't know bout you , but I'm stoked!!

Not sure how many saw the special section that story was a part of, but very well done. Cool illo on the cover and some interesting work from Alexander/Livingston. A definite plus of living in Cleveland is getting the PD.

i might go check her out. if both teams win, wadsworth will face my alma mater, the north canton hoove vikings for the right to go to the final four.
