This is great, we get a nearby playing site against a west coast team, and then a 2nd round game against a Purdue team that just lost one of their best players due to academic reasons. If we are to get to the sweet 16, we couldnt have been dealt a much easier path. Its just a shame that if we get to Cleveland, North Carolina would be our reward.

We ought to be able to get some fans there.

I wonder if a bus trip can be organized for students?

The women's tourney appears to still be in the dark ages by allowing teams to play on their home court. Even without their arguably best player, it will be tough to beat the 2nd-place Big 10 team at their place.

What's with the #1 team in the country (UNC) possibly having to play against Vandy (#8 seed) in the 2nd round on Vandy's home floor?! Ridiculous!

Kentucky is a 5 seed

You take them to overtime and they are a 5 and we are a 12?

Let's take no prisoners......

Looks like it's a good thing we won the MAC tourney, as it appears we would have been left out, given our seed is #12.

How about Uconn as a 2 and Rutgers as a 3 (in the same region as UNC and Tenn)?

Yeah, I was just thinking that. How rediculous would that have been?!

Excluding Jill, they have 8 players at the same or taller height than our team...

Their PG led the Pac-10 in assists, and she (along with their starting 3) were preseason all-americans

Box score from their last game....looks like 4 legit scorers and a whole lotta role players after that.

After we take out UNC in the Sweet 16, would you rather see us play UT or Rutgers in the Elite 8? :-({|= :supz:

True, but she is a dirty, dirty whore.

UCLA doesn't play much defense and they turn the ball over. If we can clamp down on D and shoot well, we can definitely beat this team.

Best thing is only 5 hours from BG and at 2:00 in the afternoon-should be a real home court ! Also only about 15 minutes from Liz H's home and she always plays well in her home state!

Guess there will be a huge Honegger following there, eh?
