Sob Story

Ok, here's the deal. Up until yesterday I had a friend to go with to the game on Sunday, but he has since decided to ditch me.
I REALLY want to go to this game.
Is there anyone leaving from BG (or nearby) that has any openings in a carpool situation? I'd be willing to contribute to gas money and whatnot. I'd prefer to go up and back on Sunday, but if I have to pitch in or get my own hotel room, I'm fine with that, as long as I get back before Monday (stupid 9AM classes...)
PLEASE let me know soon... I really want to go.
Thanks!

I have an opening but I live in Wauseon -- it's about 45 minutes from BG. If you can get here, we'd be happy to truck you to West Lafayette. We're planning on leaving late Saturday morning, and coming back right after the game Sunday. PM me if you want to discuss.

We need all the falcon faithful we can get out there :)

You guys.......

Unfortunately, I just checked my schedule and realized I have to work Saturday 'til midnight. So, no go on that one.
I may just say f*ck it an drive my AZZ over there by myself. I think it's worth it.
Any idea if tickets will still be available at the door?

The Falcon Club is taking two buses to the game. Leaving at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday. Call the Falcon Club if you want to go. If you aren't a Falcon Club member, it's $65.00. That's for the bus trip and tickets to both games that afternoon. You get dropped off at the door and don't have to pay for parking. That's a pretty good deal - - and you can study on the bus or get to know some other fans.

The second bus just got added yesterday and had room this morning. Students are getting the $55. price. If a bunch of people want to go - they'll probably just add another bus. The ticket for two games ( which is what we're seeing there) is $15.00, parking would be $10.00 - and you'd probably have at least $80.00 in gas - - - so it's a pretty good deal.

Oh that would be sweet if you are. Just take 75 south from BG. I'll tell the wife I'm working all day and meet you by the highway. Lunch will be on me :D

I'm no good at figuring gas, my husband gave me that figure. Filling up my tank at todays prices is over $40.00 and the trip would probably take at least a tank and a half. Going to Notre Dame and back takes a tank full and that takes 2 and a half hours. This trip is supposed to be about 4 hours. Math was never one of my strong points!!!! I just stick the credit card in the slot at the gas station!!!!!!!

But - I'm taking the bus - - - - the point being - - - that's a much better deal than driving. I would gladly take a car load of people if I was driving though. Maybe we can get a car load together for the trip to Cleveland!!!!!

At 25 MPG, you can round trip from BG to WL for about 45 dollars at the current prices. Luckily the woman has a malibu that gets about 37 mpg. :)

I do like the Cleveland line of thinking though....
