I am ready to watch our TEAM take on their individual players and show them some Falcon Fighting Spirit.
It is time to let the nation take notice......The Falcons are READY TO WIN!BEAT THE BRUINS!!!!!
Once again, I thank Grant for the increased emoticons!
Hey so am I dude. If we could beat them I be stoked to high heaven man. Its gonna take our players playing hard for 40 mins, taking advantage of every gift we might get , not getting into foul trouble and Liz Honneger shooting very well from outside. She will be key in drawing UCLA's tall and athletic 6'4 bigs away from the lane allowing hopefully Kate and Carin some driving lanes to the hoop and hopefully some fouls on UCLA.
I don't think we're near good enough to be playing a half-court game , so we must push the ball into an uptempo game. Also , we as a team must shoot well from 3 land.
It's finally time to show everyone what we are building here @ BGSU!!! The time is now for BGSU to prove that we are going to become a womens basketball program to be delt with...after tomorrow we wont just be an "opponent" we will hopefully having OUR opponent being reffered to as "our opponent"
This has the feeling of a storming of the field or the court. We all know it, we all feel it, the moment has come. The moment we have all waited for for months now. This season, we have been witnesses to the greatest team in the history of BG and the mid-american conference. We have been witnesses to the idea of team basketball transform our women of character into winners in the greatest sense. Yet outside Bowling Green, not many people know of the brilliance of what Ali Mann, Liz Honneger, Kate Achter, Carin Horne, and the others have accomplished. It has all come down to this. Tomorrow, 2:30pm Eastern, West Lafayette Indiana, that is the date, time, and place of what could be among the proudest moments in the history of BG women's basketball, and BG athletics. Its time to show the doubters what we are really made of. Its time to win.

It's amazing what a little thought will do... and he still might be wrong. I think what this team has done is outstanding, and they very well MAY be the best team in BG history, but hands down? I think some ladies from the late 80's might have a thing or two to say about that.

I understand some of the claims in that post I made could be extravagant, but why not? That post was meant to get me and others fired up for today's big game!

GO FALCONS!!!
It definitely did that!!! And this very well COULD be the best BG team we've seen, considering for all intensive porpoises they have another year together!
It still amazes me that of the five women's teams to finish the MAC undefeated, three have come through BG.
