Already have my flight booked. Will be making the down payment on the hotel next week. Should have the passport by July 16.
Leave Detroit on December 18 and return on December 22.

Dang, pretty expensive resort hotel, kinda expected that though. I sorta entertanined the idea of going in my head since its possible I'll be in Arizona by then again for the winter. But after paying for a passport (expensive) and then driving or flying down (expensive) and then the hotel resort (expensive) there's no way we could swing it. Any way this thing is on tv anywhere?

With teams like Duke and Pitt there, I would expect ESPN2 or ESPNU to pick up this tourney.

What?? If thats true then thats total crap man.

Even if the sports bars down Arizona have the Espn deportes , I dont' wan't to listen to some stupid spanish broadcast. Even though its in Mexico its for American college fans. What Mexican cares about a bunch of northeastern college womens basketball teams. I hope at least espnu carries it.

Passport was in the mail this evening when I got home. Hotel reservations for SgtRock and myself will be made tomorrow. Things are a go for a little run south of the border.

I think that I'm going to make the trip myself. We should be the second best team in that tournament. I hope that we get to play Duke and Texas Arlington. Duke because I want our girls to play against the best team in the tournament, although their not going to be as good with Currie and Williams both gone, but when you have a 6'5" center, you can still have success. I want to see our girls play UTA because a good friend of mine is on the coaching staff, and I just met their new assistant last weekend. They are good for the conference they are in, and they are recruiting some decent kids, but nothing that says danger for our kids.
On a seperate subject, last weekend up in College Station recruiting, I met the new assistant at a DIII down here. Does anyone remember Lyndsey Hatfield? She played at Central Michigan and just graduated. I never got to see her play. She is from Findlay. It is a small world. We had a lot to talk about while drinking. Anyways, just wondering if anyone remembers watching her, she was a guard. I can't wait until the season starts.

Made the hotel reservation on Friday so we are ready to go. Had an e-mail from Coach Miller and evidently the games are going to be played on December 19 & 20 (originally told it would be 19 & 21).
Falcomboy - understand the games will be shown on ESPN Ocho!
