Do the BGSU women normally run a 5,000 meter course?
The reason I ask, is to compare it to the BGHS girls team times.
I understand they are different courses, but here are the comparative times from this past weekend:

BGSU BGHS
18:58 17:48
19:15 18:28
19:16 18:45
19:27 18:46
19:41 18:52
19:47 19:23

I see a challenge race in the making.......maybe a fund raiser!!!!

BGHS has an amazing high school girls program. They are deep and those times are fantasti. They are likely favorites to repeat at the state meet, IMO.

To determine if they are pretty even you would have to take a look at times for more than one week. XC times can vary by more than a minute depending upon courses. A flat course with short grass and nice paths will yield much faster times than a course with hills and thick grass. However, if those times are correct the BGHS girls team will be hard to beat at states this year. I have never seen a girls HS team all under 20 this early in the season.

But going by those number the high school team would woop thier ass. That is sad regardless if they are the #1 team in the state. But a 17:48 for a HS girl is unreal. That is an above average time for a boy.

Those were the BGHS times at the Centerville Invitational last week. The top 3-4 runners have been pretty consistently under 19 minutes all fall.
