Can anyone explain how 5 media members picked someone other than BG to repeat as MAC champions?

They return all 5 starters from a team that has won the last two championships and didn't lose a single game in conference last season.

Kent (who lost Lindsay Shearer, BTW) Western Michigan and Toledo of all teams were picked by these 5 dimwits.

People just need to be different, I guess. The dimwits could end up being right, if we have about 30 people get hurt.

I find it even more surprising that EMU didn't get a single vote to win the tournament. How do you get picked to win the West division, but at the same time not get a vote to win the tournament over the likes of Kent State, Western Michigan, and Toledo? Quite puzzling indeed.

I find it very difficult to believe anyone would pick someone else to win the MAC this year. BG will just go out and THREE PEAT, regardless. This is now a dynasty.

So what you're saying is, we'd have to be looking at injuries from the entire team, all four coaches, the trainer, the six member cheerleading squad that does the women's games, both Freddies and Friedas, Dr. Hayward, and Jabari Mattox not to threepeat.

I don't think Jabari will get hurt -- he's so thick. I was thinking more along the lines of Cory Ryan or Casey Mcdowell's dad.
