No not huge as in 6-5, huge as in a big recruiting coup. This girl will probably the first girl in Ohio history to be first team all-state all 4 years in HS. This is a big deal.

This is the type of class we needed to replace this year's senior. Its no longer about rebuilding, its about reloading

I was going to say that, then I realized she was 17 or 18.
A little too old for me.

All hotness aside, I found some message board talk from parents and other fans that have interacted with her, and it sounds like she is a class individual and a great girl. She has very good grades and is very unselfish on the court. Her alleged sense of humor should really help her fit in with all the current players.
Most people who have followed her HS career felt that she would end up at OSU. Sounds like OSU was dragging their feet on offering her, and we took her away. Great job staff.

Prochaska is, as stated by Coach, a big time scorer. One of the biggest scorers ever in the state and the biggest true scorer signed by BG women. Prochaska is very familiar with current Falcon Sarah Clapper- and vice versa. Clapper's Newark Catholic team often ran into Prochaska's Jonathan Alder team in the tourney etc. Two super players one year apart signed out of central Ohio.
I spoke with an AAU team mate of signee Lee Jennings on campus today who indicated that Lee is a tremendous athlete- "best in the state" just like Coach said- and that she is a super team mate. A joyous hard working leader is what she said. The AAU teammate, by the way, is not a college BB prospect; she is just considering BG as a college destination. Don't want you to think I was involved in actual recruiting!

AWESOME news! Another great signing.
"As I said last week (when the first seven signees were announced), we are thrilled with this recruiting class," said Miller. "I believe this entire class can have an impact early in their careers, and this class is loaded with quality young women, on and off the floor. They are very talented in the classroom, and are winners on the court."
THIS is why Coach Miller and staff have so much respect from me. They are doing it well and the right way. I love it!!
This class flat out SMOKES.
GO FALCONS!!

And we'll need them to smoke right off the bat too. Our roster of returnees consists of Kate, Jazz, Whit, Lindsay, and the 3 freshman.
It sounds like this class can rival the current senior class. If they come anywhere near accomplishing what the Seniors have, we'll be in very good shape.

Oh...that would be good. The class is heavy on Ohio talent...I like that. It seems we're not just signing Ohio kids, but we're getting Ohio kids with a lot of options too.
I like that even better.

And what I like even better is Miller and Co. are signing kids in Kent's back yard.

I'm sure Bob Lindsay isn't very happy these days.

Kent's Bob Lindsay signed a good point guard from his backyard in Stephanie Bishop from highly rated N Canton Hoover and a taller post from Warren, OH. But he also took an Iowa JC product at forward. That tells me perhaps teams like BG beat him on a couple of kids. No doubt that Jennings, Hooten, Jennings, Uhl and Zuercher are all right in Kent's backyard- literally. And I can't imagine that they were not heavily recruiting and perhaps offering every one of those players.
Keeping considerable pressure up and keeping our Ohio connections going.

falconfan1, your inside stories and tidbits about players, coaches and administrators from different sports are always very interesting and informative. I know I speak for many when I say keep up the great work!
