Any updates? I'm currently listening to BG trail OSU in hockey, 4-1, after 1.

Just saw the score, Tricky! Nice 36 point win....although Coach Miller had these comments:
QUOTING COACH MILLER
"Certainly, the score is not an indication of how we played tonight. Your goal throughout the season is to keep getting better and better, and I don't think we were as good a basketball team tonight as we were Monday night in South Bend. That concerns me."
"Despite the low point total (against the Falcons), the most glaring thing to me was the way that our defense struggled tonight. Teams continue to exploit some of our flaws, and we need to work very hard on the practice court to get better defensively. As we meet some of the higher-echelon teams we will meet this year, we can't afford to have lapses like we did tonight, or we are going to be exploited."
Hockey now down 6-1...and I haven't had dinner yet. I'll be back later.
Game thoughts......

I agree with Miller, our intensity left alot to be desired. After playing a decent Big East team in ND then haveing to play a lowley Albany team certainly drained our game intensity. The ladies do need to get better though.
More positive notes, Sara Clapper looks like a gamer allready , as she had another 3 ptr. and another FG for 5 pts. I'd like to see her get more time if possible.

Who are you going to take time away from to give it to clapper? The way this team is set up this year, you aren't going to see much meaningful contribution from the freshman until maybe very late in the year. They will continue to get a lot of garbage-time experience as we will blow a lot of teams out, and then maybe they'll be ready to contribute in the second half of the season.
Unless there's foul trouble or injuries, the freshman will not get extended minutes before a game is decided, no matter how good they are.
