Charlie has us as a rising 8th seed. It would be sweet if we could hang with Duke, and blow through the rest of the schedule without another loss to maybe grab a 5 or 6 seed. That would give us a realistic shot of getting to the sweet 16. I'm definitely saving my vacation just in case.

Creme also mentions that mid-major programs in general are on the rise in WCB, while a few traditional mid-major powers are struggling. The landscape is slowly changing to mirror the men's side, and BG can be a big part of it.

Well I think to change the landscape for the womens b-ball to resemble the men , there would have to some major changes possibly. Reducing overall schollies would probably be the most influential thing that could be done off the bat to spread the wealth of talent across the landscape of teams instead of seeing the same ole freakish talented and athletic players going only to a small handfull of schools, Duke, Tenn, UConn, MD, LSU and the like.

And with the Women's Final Four at the Q this year? Why not us?? Sure it's a long shot but just remember George Mason on the men's side last year. Hey, we can dream...and who knows?

GO FALCONS!!!
