How many of you are down there in sunny Cancun? I read a paper collum on the game that said at that time BG had more fans signed up to go down there than most of the team there including Duke. It be real nice to get at least 500 or so down there for the game.

Oh yeah, theres a photo gallery of the lady falcons trip down there as well at this link.

I guess the arena really isn't very big , holding only a few thousand or so.

BuenosTardes to all Falcon Fans stuck behind.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHA ;-)

The Moon Palace is FALCON AMAZING!!!!!!!!

We are right on the Gulf of Mexico. Lots of pretty senoritas on the beach.

The room has a jacuzzi and a mini-bar (completely stocked with beers and a bottle of Jose, Bacardi, some Scotch, and some other whiskey that I can't make out the brand on the label).

We rode in from the airport with the official for our game on Wednesday evening. Evidently he does a lot of Big 12 contests. Nice guy though (although we'll be sure to hassle him if he messes up on Wednesday).

Temp is aound 22 Celcius (that should be about 85 Fahrenheit). We're off to the beach and going to smoke the Cuban cigars we bought earlier this afternoon.

Saw the guys from the Ocho!

Enjoy!

Is anybody else having trouble concentrating at work today (I mean more than usual)?

I'm pumped for this opportunity tonight for these ladies. I hope they can come up big.

I'll be in chat if anybody else is interested in being annoyed.

I talked to Kate yesterday (we went to high school together) and she said that the team is extremely fired up to play this game, and they know that this is their chance to show to the whole country that the team isn't a fluke. She said the weather is beautiful and she sends out her hellos to all those who will be listening to the game on the radio.

I just got a call from a fan that is in Cancun and he said Kate was in her room vomiting! They are trying to figure out if it is "Duke nerves" or the famous Montazuma's revenge! Hopefully the Duke nerves, because a whole lot of this game relies on her abilities! Jazz needs to get ready with her "A" game, just in case.
They went to the banquet last night and said it was awesome as well as the weather.
