They look to me like a middle of the pack MAC team (152 RPI). They beat sub-.500 Miami and Kent teams by 1 at home to start the year. They also beat Ohio (98 RPI) by 9 at home in their last game. They're 7-3, but against a bad schedule. Their most impressive game was a 10-point road loss against Pittsburgh, but that looks like an anomaly. They have played much better in their last 4 games, and this might be a dangerous let-down game after the emotional Delaware win.

BG by 20.

looks like we have to stop the 2 post players, this team can score so it should be another exciting game at Anderson

hopefully the crowd is as good as yesterday...

92-81 final. Game wasn't that close. Nice weekend heading into conference play.

Listeining to the post game on the net, sounded like this is an unusal team. THose that were there...do they run and gun? Any kind of attitude?

WAY TO GO FALCONS!!!!! I can't wait til Wed night at the JAR. Akron is certainly impoved under a new head coach and is playing pretty well lately. I still think BG will win by a decent margin but they'll need to be ready.

GO FALCONS!!!!

Who? BG? I don't know that they "run and gun", but they're definitely up-tempo. I think that's where they get in trouble with turnovers, too... they get the ball moving so quick and are trying to make "THAT" pass. Against Delaware, it wasn't clicking so much in the first half, but they started connecting in the second and you saw the result.

I turned Gametracker on with 5 min. left, when most of the starters came out, and they were up 21 or so with only nine turnovers.

If you mean RM, yes. They had a lot of attitude, enough to get them 3 or 4 technical fouls. They were quite annoying. If you mean BG, yes as well, they have a great attitude and stay up and excited all game long, whether they're up by 20 or trailing (which hasn't happened too much this season).

I know what BG is all about. I listen to almost every game. I should have clarified RM. One announcer said they had an attittude. Were they trash talking or thuggin? BG had a huge lead in this game so the final score is somewhat misleading.

At any rate, time to win the MAC! GO FALCONS

I figured you knew what BG is all about, but the wording caught me. I'll trust my instincts next time. :D
As far as RM, they were just talking, and all kinds of it. At times they were talking trash if they did something right and then other times they were just whining like crazy about everything. The players were arguing with the refs, the coaches were complaining all night, they just really bugged me.

Robert Morris. Unusual situation. Pregame shoot around with multiple I Pods on the court. Not a good sign IMO.

Leading scorers for RMC are three JC players. Not a problem. Just an observation. Not common in women's college bball. Another player is a D 1 transfer who was kicked off her previous team. The team? Marshall. When you are kicked off of Marshall's team...........

So an interesting game with a coach who literally argued call after call. He questioned the refs constantly and his players followed suit. An athletic bunch who will win a lot of games in the Northeast Conference. Already they beat Ohio by 10 and lost at Pitt by 10.

They yacked and complained all night and also produced the first technical foul in women's bball history at Anderson for hanging on the net. The RMC player (who scored 25- 15 after the game was over) jumped up and hung on the net and could have grabbed the rim- easily. Number 1 and number 33 were two of the best leapers I have seen in our gym.

Absolutely undisciplined team with no defense- and the ability to score on most any team anywhere.

Fun game to watch- other than the last eight minutes as they scored 35 points in that time. It was still fun to watch everyone play a lot.

Happy New Year!

Go Falcons!
