I bet the showing by the AP is mostly a result of teams losing and writers taking a peek at what the coaches knew already. Still, jumping SIX spots was a pleasant surprise. I'd figure to go up a couple in the coaches poll tomorrow.

Keep it up!

Our women's team is the best women's team I've ever seen in my 30+ years of BGSU basketball. For them to be ranked this high is totally deserved and earned. I'm so excited for all the women and the men involved with this program. They have so much to be proud of, and yet have so much more work to do.

THEY make me proud to be a Falcon!

This team could be the George Mason of last years Men's tourney...

Then Curt Miller better work on his whistling and foot stomping.

His foot stomping is already at an All-American level. I'm not sure even Jimmy L. could rival the stomp-tantrum of one Curt Miller. High comedy.

Very nice. Though I was thinking more just the "one-foot stomp" to get someone's attention.

If I could think of a downside to this team, it's that they're not under the radar anymore. Not a bad downside to have.

And stomping on that SUPER-hardwood floor there in Anderson has got to be KILLING his ankles and knees.

Well played!! =D> I just finished reading through that thread on the Men's BB board. Your post made me laugh out loud!

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Way to go, BG! I about fell out of my chair when I read the ladies had moved up SIX spots in the AP POLL> Some of the OSU fans here today are trying to take a jab at me when I bring up the ranking. "If the best you can do is women's hoops..."

Hey pal, #18 in the nation and coming after YOUR suckeyes!!! I'd love to see BG play OSU...

The idea of BG being this year's George Mason...I've felt that way the last couple weeks. And the women's Final Four is at the Q this season. Can you imagine.... ;-)

18th in the newest coaches poll as well. That's also the highest in league history.
