I was at the game as an Ohio fan, and it really showed what an accomplishment BG's MAC winning streak is. Ohio had its largest and most boisterous crowd of the year, and the Ohio team looked to be as intense as it has been all year. I assume BG faces similar situations in every MAC road game. But they handled the pressure well, and came away with the win. In particular, the Falcons have terrific balance, making it difficult to key on any individual player. They also played great defense, holding Rachel Frederick to zero points and 2 rebounds, and forcing Ohio into a lot of turnovers. The end result was a 9-point win, but it wasn't really that close, as BG pulled away in the second half and had about a 19 point lead with around 3 minutes to go. Its hard to see this team losing in the MAC this year.

Thanks for the kind words Joe. I think you're right -- if it wasn't for all the senior leadership on this team, I think it would be nearly impossible for them to take every team's best shot night in and night out. We're very fortunate to have this group of people together this year.

Really wish I could've been there for that game today. Great job ladies. I would say more about what I think of the team but years of baseball has instilled a weary supersticious streak in me and I don't want to be the cause of any bad juju.

Ruck the Fedskins! I hate them even more than Toiletto.

Me and a buddy went down, wasn't the best game the women have played but it was good enough to win a big road game. A lot of shots that would normally go in just didn't seem to want to go in, and thats why the score was as close as it was.

AMEN. Every game is just another ride on this fantastic voyage.

Joe,

I listened to the game over the net and it was loud at the Convo. I think OU is building a good program and it sounded like they played hard. BG is just on another level than the rest of the MAC this year...all that SR leadership and experience that J4H pointed out makes it very difficult to beat BG.

And besides, you thrashed our men's team...who just got thrashed by Akron today by 21.
