still 18th in AP

Post by TG1996 »

As somewhat expected, Texas A&M jumped us and took Marquette's spot as they fell to 19.

There *is*, however, a mention in the AP story on the new rankings about Duke moving to #1, and how they have six wins over Top 25 teams, the closest being nine points over BG. A kind of roundabout compliment, but any publicity is good publicity, right?

Ozzy Osbourne is living (well sort of living) proof that there is no such thing as bad publicity.
Yeah right girl!

Gained 12 votes in the coaches to move up to 17th. A&M right on our heels.

Delaware and Temple both received votes. Maybe both of them can run the table in their respective conferences and get into the top 25 by season's end. That would help a LOT.

#15 Louisville got blown out by unranked South Florida tonight. They've played a very soft schedule so they'll surely drop behind us.
