If Akron is here, why wouldn't you play the game? I am sure alot of us are looking for a good reason to get OUT!!!
Maybe our administration can't get the parking lot plowed!

yes, i need to get out of my apt! been in here all day yesterday and if had to be here all day today i'll go crazy! i hate being stuck in one place.

I agree. My God, why send them back in this weather when its a shorter trip from the hotel to the arena?!

I think the concern was the Level 3 emergency. It would be unconscionable to hold an athletic event if it was illegal to be driving. If they hadn't been able to get the roads clear, Akron would have simply been stuck.

I've been to more than one hockey game with a Level 3 snow emergency...

I heard the weather wasn't a factor, it was that they didn't know if the upgrade to AA would be done in time. I know a guy who heard a guy he knows say that he overheard in the Union that they installed a new system in AA where the locker room door and showers won't work until all three officials and a neutral observer simultaneously push two buttons while turning a key to signify the end of the game.

Glad to hear there will be a game. GO BG! DEFEND THE STREAK!
