Post by Falconboy »

Division I:
1. Dublin Scioto [8] (19-0) 235
2. Wadsworth [13] (18-1) 221
3. Toledo Waite [1] (16-1) 178
4. West Chester Lakota West (17-2) 167
5. Pickerington Central (17-3) 138
6. North Canton Hoover [2] (17-3) 95
7. Findlay (16-2) 93
8. Cincinnati Oak Hills (18-2) 82
9. Youngs. Boardman (14-3) 64
10. Cincinnati Mount Notre Dame (15-4)

BTW, Dublin Scioto has BGSU incoming recruit Crystal Murdaugh, and Wadsworth has incoming recruit Jen Uhl. How awesome is that?!! :D

Sounds good for next year!

But for the time being, I would much rather see Wadsworth as the #1 ranked team in the State.

The road to Columbus begins tomorrow at 1 pm at Ellett.

Too bad they couldn't handle the Vikings (two of whose three losses came to out of state teams, and the third to arguably the best team in any division, Regina). :)

Uhl had 18 points in Wadsworth's 81-29 thrashing of Tallmadge last night. Bianca Hooten had 11 points in Canton McKinley's 67-54 win over Hudson as well.

JACO - we will see soon enough. These 2 will have a re-match before Regionals (if I am not mistaken). Didn't Hoover win during the regular season last year only to get whomped in the playoffs? Deja Vu?

Freak - thanks for reading us the Sports section.....what's next school closings?

I want to hear the commodities report! :-D

Well, considering how slow you folks over in Wadsworth are, I figured I do you a favor and explain it to ya. You gonna be at the Kent game Tuesday night?

No I doubt it. But I'd like to make a few of the MAC tournies.

Still a lot of sports going on this time of year elsewhere between USA swimming at Cleve State, training over at Firestone, and of course Wads b-ball.....potential for a Wads / Green matchup in Districts?

Thanks for the sports report though, what's going on in the Div II Sandy Valley league? Dover still alive?

Dover has lost 3 games all year...to Massillon, Mason and Cincinnati Princeton...all Div 1 schools. Dover is ranked 12th in the state for Div 2. ;-)
