alright everyone, howd we look? any signs of us getting tired or slowing down because of a short bench? I was glad to see we got out to a good lead at half this time.

ESPN Box score says Amber played 26 min and Lindsey played 31! Liz saw 16 minutes today. BG did what they had to do.

just got back to the hotel.. i hope Liz is ok. Liz got tripped up the first half and went off to the lockeroom limping... came back and played some in the second half, but not much. i really hope it is nothing major!

Sounds like a good overall effort. I also hope Liz is okay for tomorrow. Tomorrow is the day.....and I can't wait!

Evidently there's a pep rally tomorrow at 11:30 at the practice court of the Q. I'll be there along with both of my sisters. See you in Cleveland!!

GO FALCONS!!! BEAT THE CARDINALS!!!

The AP almost made it sound like we lost. Very critical.

The news on Liz is even more disturbing. Possible bone chip? Holy crap, that would be bad.

Ok. Somebody - ANYBODY - has GOT to text me updates tomorrow. I have to coach at a debate tourney and won't be able to get ANY UPDATES FOR HOURS. PLEASE PM me if you are able to help me out.

Sense the desperation?

If it's discovered that Liz will miss the NCAA tourney, it could negatively affect our seeding as well.. The committee has been known to drop teams that suffer key injuries late in the season.

This is, of course, looking well beyond the on-the-court ramifications. This is, indeed, not good. Ali and Amber both looked fatigued today, missing many shots they normally hit. Amber especially.

I thought the article was spot on re: the game in general...we missed a BUNCH of in close shots early, and looked tight....fortunately, EMU cooled off, especially from 3pt. land, later on...but we were beaten on drives to the hoop with underneath help coming too late in many cases....Still, what do they say about good teams...they win even though they didn't play well? Liz' injury, especially if there IS a bone chip, could be devastating, though she hasn't played particularly well in the tournament in either game....but came up with some crucial buckets today, even after the injury.

Despite what the score says, today was a tough game. Maybe I just didn't give EMU enough credit coming in (by no means overlooked though), but it was a lot tougher game than I expected. EMU never quit, and a couple of times looked like they could take the lead (like I said, the box score is somewhat misleading). I never felt like we had the game in hand until about 4:00 left, and we didn't really had it won until :30. I don't think we looked any more tired than we did on Tuesday, but I do think it could become a problem if we win a couple of games in the NCAA Tourney.

Something I did notice is that this team really, and I mean REALLY, feeds off the crowd. Yea, I know that's part of the thrill of playing, but I don't think I've ever seen a team feed off the crowd energy like the team did today. If we show up in vocal force, I don't think Ball State has a prayer. I've been saving (kinda) my voice for tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow lets blow the roof off the Q and make the place really feel like Anderson Arena!!!!

GO FALCONS!!!!! BEAT THE CARDINALS!!!!
