Here's the ASU fan board:

Even though it goes without saying, represent BGSU well. I already posted a well wishing thread if you want to post in there.
You can find their team page here:

I don't understand how Vanderbilt was the 2 and ASU the 3.
This is a good team we are playing...

Vandy won the SEC tourney. ASU didn't win a Pac 10 title this year, regular season or tourney.

Hi there..I am an ASU fan...I just read this last post....sounds like you already have judged us...look at some stats..look at some results..so we didn't win our tourney or the regular season..our 4 losses(3 were to Stanford) and 1 to TN were all by single digits..we spent all of the regular season 1st or 2nd in the NATION in assists..we were 1st or 2nd in 9 of 11 offensive catagories log on to
www.PAC-10.org check out stat catagories..we swept all PAC-10 oppononents except Stanford..so, until you play us, or see us play, do not assume we were seeded higher than we should have been..perhaps you were seeded lower..we didn't do the seeding, so don't hold it against us....see you in Greensboro...

Kittymommy... I think Falcon30 was saying that you guys should have been seeded higher than Vandy, and that murph was explaining why the committee probably ranked Vandy higher than you guys. No disrespect here...
You guys have accomplished some big things. It's going to be a tough game for us!

A tad defensive, aren't we?
As appealing as logging on to PAC-10.org and examining assist statistics sounds, I'll wait until the game Saturday to make my determination. We're playing with house money right now, and that looseness and positive momentum will be a nice counter to the statistical prowess of the Sun Devils.
Oh, and our loss to overall number 1 seed Duke was by single digits as well.

I think Falcon30 and Murphs point was that you are better than your seed and the only reason you weren't seeded higher than Vandy is because of the way the conference championships worked out... I think anyone that pays attention realizes that you have a very good team... However in response to the stats you showed Vandy had the best offense in the SEC and I would say in my humble opinion that our defense did a pretty decent job on them... and of our 3 Losses this season all came one the road by single digits one of which was to Duke... so I don't think anyone is out to pass judgement on anyone... and we all know once you get to this point your seed doesn't matter... at this point all the teams left are really talented... I think everyone can agree that this should be a great game between two great teams...

No doubt you have a very good team, but I think it's a really tough sell to say you're a better team than Vandy.

actually, the OU loss was at home, wasn't it?
But your point is still valid (all around). ASU is a very good team, but we've shown we belong this year. Saturday should be a great game!

We really couldn't have asked for a better sweet 16 matchup. They have no starter taller than 6-2. They have a 6-6 sophomore on the roster, but she's gotten less than 10 minutes PT in the 2 tourney games, so it doesn't look like she's much of a factor.
Of course this game will be a war, but at least we won't get dominated by a bunch of big girls inside. We have to match their intensity and rebounding.

Yes, I was just pointing out the facts about the titles as to why Vandy was likely ranked higher. Honestly, I don't know anything about ASU yet. But I will before Saturday!

I can't find any season stats on their athletic page. Has anybody been able to rustle some up?

I haven't tried to dig online, but looking through the team/individual stats leaders the AP feeds, they seem similar to us numbers wise, scoring in the 70's as a team, but distributing the points across a few players. (Unless I missed a Sun Devil in the top 40 or so of that list)

Looks like I was right... two players averaging 13 a game, a bunch of others in the 7-9 range.
