Can somebody give a list of the recruits we have coming next year and where they go to high school. All I can remember is Prochaska (sp). Thanks.

Well, a large chunk of recruiting influence is held by the assistants. They were the ones out beating the pavement to sign these girls. I would think the majority of them would want to come play for Jen as much as they would for Curt.ZiggyZoomba wrote:I'll open this can of worms....
If coach Miller leaves BGSU for pastures of another color, his recruits are allowed to follow him w/o losing any eligibility....
I'm just sayin....
Maybe I'll get flamed for this, but are these girls that good that he would want them at, say, Michigan? Or were they coming to BG because that is where their projected college skills top out at? I mean, the old Michigan coach didn't offer them scholarships or they probably would have been signed there already. So, what I'm saying is, why would Coach Miller want to bring them with him when he now has access to another level of talent?ZiggyZoomba wrote:If coach Miller leaves BGSU for pastures of another color, his recruits are allowed to follow him w/o losing any eligibility....
I know understand what your saying, but I do know have an example against your theory. As kid from Cincy Moeller HS named Ryan Childress sign with UW-Milwaukee when Bruce Peral was still coach. When Pearl went to Tennessee Childress followed. Now I don't know how well he is doing but I have heard his name on TV a few times. I know the men's and women's games are different, just throwing out an exampleWarthog wrote:Maybe I'll get flamed for this, but are these girls that good that he would want them at, say, Michigan? Many of the recruits in this class had multiple Big Ten and Big East offers on the table which they turned down to come to BG.Warthog wrote:Maybe I'll get flamed for this, but are these girls that good that he would want them at, say, Michigan? Now, I could see some of these girls deciding not to go to BG if Miller leaves. But it would be to go to another MAC or similar school, not to follow Miller.

Now, I don't think Curt will turn down a 6'4" McDonald's High School All-American becuase she doesn't fit his system. But, he might take a slightly lower rated player over a higher rated player because she possess a skill set he is looking for versus overall talent.Warthog wrote:Maybe I'll get flamed for this, but are these girls that good that he would want them at, say, Michigan? From what I understand we basically stole Jennings from OSU who had been recruiting her for three years. I think people are going to be pleasantly surprised when they see these girls take the court next year.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:Many of the recruits in this class had multiple Big Ten and Big East offers on the table which they turned down to come to BG.Warthog wrote:Maybe I'll get flamed for this, but are these girls that good that he would want them at, say, Michigan? Grant, are you a 100% sure of this fact? Or do the women have different rules. I was under the impression that the school had to release the recruits that had signed. Otherwise if they left for another school, they did indeed sit out a year. I know there was some loophole with Kruger's son at UNLV but I believe that was closed after last year.ZiggyZoomba wrote:I'll open this can of worms....

I agree with this. We may have a Fab Six put together. If nothing else, what keeps them here is each other.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:A mass exodus is not going to occur.
