McCoy to BG

Post by TG1996 »

According to Maureen and her awesomeness:

Hopefully the apparent attitude issues were left at Akron and Niki comes out ready to score in two years.

McCoy's skills (16 ppg, 6.6 rpg) are similar to LeBron James' in that she can do almost everything on the floor.
Come on, Maureen...you're better than that.
Would you like some chapagna?

Sounds to me that McCoy and the new staff just didn't see eye to eye. It happens. I know this...the girl can play. I look forward to seeing her in a Falcon uni down the road.

Welcome to BG, Niki!!

I don't think that Maureen was trying to say that Niki is the Lebron of Women's College Basketball. I think she was just using Lebron as an example of someone who can do it all. A triple-double type threat.

I don't think any "attitude issues" would survive on Curt's team.

All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I agree. I think in the end, any question there may have been about attitude turned out to be related to the coaching change at Akron anyway. She sounds excited about the family atmosphere at BG and is more than ready to be a part of it.

Congratulations to Nikki and the staff.
She will fit right in, plug a big hole in the junior class, bring a wealth of experience, along with prime time ability.
Look for Nikki to lead the way to "more" sweet sixteen games!

Will she be allowed to play right away or will she have to sit out a year?

RTFA. :-D

She's gotta sit out next year, and will have two years after that.

On a personal note I've heard some disturbing things about this girl, that I will not post on this forum. These things that I heard came from some of her UA teammates. In any event I don't think she is going to be to happy with sitting out a year when its all said and done. I hope she will not prove to be a cancer, I don't think Coach Miller would put up with that, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
