Honegger Adds to her BG Scoring Total!

Liz Honegger career continued (and finally ended) at the MAC Track Championships this weekend. She finished fourth in the MAC in the discus with a personal best throw of 154-7. That gave the Falcons four points in the team scoring so Liz did add to her "scoring" record- this time in track and field.
Unfortunately, her personal best ended up 7 inches short of a national qualifying throw. The good news was that BG soph Lauren Bryant did qualify for the NCAA regionals in the event with a personal best throw over 159.
Good luck to Liz. By the way, it was great to watch Ali Mann graduate last weekend. I had a chance to congratulate her and also speak with her very proud parents. What a class.
