WOMEN'S SOCCER DOES IT AGAIN!!!

The #8 seed Falcons took down #1 seed Kent State today! Maybe this could be a repeat of last year! Western Michigan is their next opponent this Friday. Go Falcons!

THIS IS AWESOME!!!! Coach Richards' club comes alive in the tourney.
Jr. Britt Anderson scored in the 2nd OT to give BG the 2-1 win. With the win, the Falcons improve to 8-11-2 on the season. KSU, the tournament's number-one seed, is 11-4-5.
2nd straight yr BG has upset the #1 seed in the tourney. Kristy Coppes scored the first goal. Both of BG's goals began with free kicks by junior Julie Trundle. Ali Shingler made several big stops in goal.
The Falcons, the lone lower seed to win on Tuesday, will face Western in Friday's first semifinal, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Third-seeded Central Michigan University will face host Ohio University, the second seed, in the other match, slated for a 2:00 p.m. start. Both matches will be held at Chessa Field.
