The updated Bracketology has the Falcons as an 11 seed playing Notre Dame in the first round in West Lafayette.

I would love to go back to West Lafayette. ND might have a little harder time with us once all those Freshman have a year of experience under their belts. :)

pretty cool that 1 performance is enough to make a believer out of Charley Creme, who I think is a total blowhard...but he DOES continue to have a nationally recognized forum (ESPN bracketology) to post his opinions so there's got to be something to what he says and thinks. Not only does he think they are now the favorites to win the MAC, 11 isn't too shabby in terms of a seed when you consider the seed that a much more experienced club got 2 years ago. That is the respect that Curt, his staff, and the program have EARNED.

word from South Bend, quoting Apollo Creed in the first Rocky movie.... "Ain't gonna be no rematch".

I'll bet the folks in South Bend who have read the bracketology will have nightmares with the thought of seeing this Falcon team later down the road. Same thing last year. Duke admitted that they were quite distressed to see BGSU in their bracket when the pairings were announced last year.

I was at a tournament recruiting last week and had a chance to meet and talk to Coach Goestenkors. She had nothing but praise for Coach Miller and the program. It was nice to talk to her a little bit about BG, before we talked about how she was liking her new job. I know that they didn't want to play BG again last year. I am going to be very happy if we win the MAC and get a first round win. I think that Kate deserves more, but I think even she would understand the difficulty of winning two or more games, probably witha low seed, in the tournament with a very young team like this one. I just want to see BG become the Old Dominion or Louisiana Tech of todays women's basketball.
