BG gets 7 votes from the media....not so much as a sniff from the coaches. Curt is still holding out.

Curious how Notre Dame moved down in one poll and only up 3 spots in the other after road wins at BG and Purdue. :?

We've also shot up to 30th in the RPI. The MAC has improved to 17th, which is still way below last year. Hopefuly the MAC can score some more wins over the next month.

I'm generally more interested in the RPI as opposed to the rankings, since these numbers actually matter to the committe, but it sure is fun to track us in the national polls. We have a few more chances to impress the voters before MAC play starts. If we're not ranked by the time MAC play kicks off, it's likely we won't be this year if we lose more than 1 MAC game.

Those aren't the RPI - those are the Sagarin ratings. He uses a different formula.

The best RPI site I've seen is collegeRPI.com. Realtime RPI updates faster, but they've proven to be less accurate in their ratings.
