Buffalo is also 2-0 in MAC play so far, so if they win on Wednesday along with us, Saturday's contest could be of major significance. That being said though, I trust that our ladies will give 100% effort and take these two games. That game vs Ohio must have been scary for the rest of the league. If our women can beat up on the "preseason MAC favorite" by 15 with Achter playing as poorly as she did, how exactly do you go about beating them? I don't know and I don't care.

@ Kent is always going to be tough even thought they're down a little bit, and Buffalo's fans are ruthless. I'm a wee bit worried about how the young kids will handle their first two tough MAC road environments, especially with a bullseye on their backs.....and Kent and Buffalo are two of the toughest.
I think and hope we'll win, but it could be very interesting.

I really wish I could go to that Kent game. Rehearsal goes straight through 5:30 and the treck to kent from BG could take nearly 3 hours at that time of day. Looks like I will be glued to the radio Wednesday night.

KSU's posted roster is down to nine players and, as far as I can tell, only three of those were on the team last year. It looks like they beat Ohio with their posts (a 6'4" transfer and a 6'3" freshman). I would think since they are limited in numbers, we'd be able to run them until they drop. It will be interesting to see what we do.

Just saw their roster and they are definitely shorthanded. After the to 6'4 and 6'3 posts its just a 6'0 and a 5'11 F and the rest are guards under 5'9. Their sched is pretty telling as they have been blown out by Rhode Island and lost to Maryland Eastern Shore.

Wins are against N.Arizona ,Navy, Presbyterian, and the latest and their best win over Ohio. Needless to say I fully expect us to put the beat down early and often on Kent tomorrow night.

I think our players will be ready to play in any environment after travelling so much to start the year...in some pretty tough places. Kent is not having the type of year they usually do. They will play inspired ball, as they usually do at home, but I don't expect the usual crowd....except for that one girl who has the loudest, most annoying shrill known to mankind. If you are listening on the net or radio, I'll bet the BG fans will be louder.
ROLL THE FLASHES!!!

BG fans better be louder, I remember that girl from the first time I went to Kent two years, and I don't want to hear her through my radio

LOL! I see her every time at BG/Kent games...doesn't matter if it's men's hoops, women's hoops or volleyball. She is at EVERY game or match. Funny...I never see or hear her at BG/Kent football games.

Gosh, that shriek is hideous. Reminds me of those freaky "Big Foot recordings" I heard on the Art Bell Radio show once.
